The FL510 flowmeter allows you to measure the flow in open channels. The water is channeled through a special calibrated plate (weir) and by means of a sensor, the level is measured with great precision. The measured measurement, recalculated with a special formula will indicate the flow rate. The choice of the weir must be made in such a way as to allow the outflow of the maximum known flow rate, with a head normally equal to 3/4 of the maximum available.
To ensure safe operation in the severe work situations to which this system is subjected, all the parts in contact with the fluid have been made of plastic and / or stainless materials, resistant to chemical agents and heat.
The still tank, of suitable size in relation to the foreseeable flow rates, is designed for the placement of the level meter. Upstream of the calm zone it is advisable to insert a system for the interception of any solid transport.
The level meter can be of the ultrasonic or piezometric and the relative full scale must be chosen in relation to the expected level variation. If you need to view the flow measurement on site, the DATAFLOW control unit is the most suitable, as it is equipped with a digital display (allowing you to view the total and instantaneous flow rate) and has the capacity to store up to 7000 data.
Each sensor comes with a test certificate which certifies the results of the test performed and the electromechanical characteristics of the same.
