The LV621 level probe is a solid state sensor that has two stainless steel electrodes, suitable for detecting the presence of water. When the liquid comes into contact with the electrodes, a relay closes a contact that can be used for:

• activate an audible and / or visual alarm
• activate a pump
• send an alarm message via SMS, via a GSM modem optional. </ span >

The relay output is completely isolated and can handle a current of 2A. Upon returning to the dry state, the relay resets itself back to its initial state.
The LV621 level probe has several uses: surface water monitoring, water level control, high water indication etc.
