Measurement of the level of the water table , measurement of the interstitial pressure .
Description
The electric piezometers of the LV616 series measure pressures, interstitial overpressures and water levels in wells, dams, channels and reservoirs.
The LV616 series is produced in 3 models: </ p>
- LV616-AS1 absolute piezometer , capable of detecting interstitial pressures in the ground, equipped with 4×0.22 shielded electrical cable with marine grade scratchproof outer sheath.
- LV616-AS2 absolute piezometer , capable of detecting interstitial pressures in the soil without cable, equipped with a hook for attaching a suspension cord.
- LV616-RL relative piezometer , capable of detecting a hydrostatic pressure, equipped with a 4×0.22 shielded electrical cable with compensation tube atmospheric and sheath scratch-resistant marine grade exterior.
The piezometer, inserted in a well, performs a pressure measurement directly proportional to the height of the liquid contained in it. The electrical connection cable, being load-bearing, is fixed to the piezometer casing, allowing it to be introduced and recovered without problems. Inside the connection cable, a small tube connects the reference chamber of the transducer with the atmosphere, in order to compensate for variations in atmospheric pressure: the result is a relative pressure measurement.
In the -AS2 model the data acquisition unit and the battery are located inside the piezometer, while, in the -AS1 and -RL models, the data acquisition unit is located in head to the hole and the electrical connection cable of the piezometers is supplied in the desired length.
The MYLOG data acquisition unit is housed inside of a stainless steel container. The acquisition intervals are programmable from 1min to 24h. The WARM UP function is programmable from 1 to 60 seconds and allows to supply current to the instrument before taking the reading, in order to stabilize it. Upon connection, the MYLOG unit provides all the parameterization data stored inside, as well as the battery status. The data is saved in a FLASH memory capable of storing 128,000 data, as well as date and time. The datalogger is supplied with two rods, so that it can be fixed in the hole.
It is possible to connect the MYLOG unit to a GSM modem .
