SIM STRUMENTI has created the portable LV620 probe, compact and light, with the aim of facilitating the level control of the aquifer in wells, piezometric holes, etc.
The probe consists of a centimeter rib or millimeter, of variable length, wound on a cable winding roller and by a tip which, in contact with the surface of the water, closes an electrical circuit housed inside the roller. The tip has a diameter of 12mm and the probe can therefore be used with all piezometric tubes of normal use. The LED and buzzer contact detection devices are contained in the central body of the roller. The circuit is powered by a 9V battery also housed in the cable reel. The measurement must be performed by reading, at the time of activation of the optical-sound signal, the centimeter or millimeter cable referring to the tube head. Upon request, a temperature sensor is available, placed inside the tip and a digital display located in the central part of the cable reel.
