Measurement of rotation in dams , bridges , viaducts , bell towers , buildings etc.
Description
The IN940 straight pendulum has been designed to measure with great sensitivity, the rotations of structures caused by any kind of instability. Based on the plumb line principle, the instrument is able to control the rotations on measurement bases, as required.
The pendulum is consisting of: a damping tank, a ballast, a rod and a anchor. The size and shape of the bracket that adjusts the rod vary according to the problems of the situation under examination.
The measurements are detected by inductive sensors or laser, positioned orthogonally in the damping tank. On request, sensors are available that are placed along the rod to measure any change in position.
Each sensor is supplied with a test certificate which certifies the results of the test performed and the electromechanical characteristics of the same.
