The load cells of the LC210 series have been designed to measure with the utmost precision and reliability the variations in workload to which the tie rods , allowing you to carefully evaluate any release losses during operation.
Subjected to an external load, the cell undergoes a deformation which is faithfully detected by the strain gauge bridge located inside, transforming it into an electrical signal. The strain-gauges electrically connected in a Wheatstone bridge configuration, detect the compression deformations , automatically compensating for the bending effect . The cells are also temperature compensated .
An accurate protection of the sensors allows the use of these instruments in difficult environmental conditions , without any fear of failure or malfunctions.
The load distribution plates are also supplied with the cells, to be interposed between the instrument and the striking surface, in order to further improve performance by excluding all errors due to a difficult alignment with the tie rod.
Each cell is supplied with a test certificate which certifies the results of the test performed and the electromechanical characteristics of the same.
