The load cells of the LC240 series have been designed to measure, with maximum precision and reliability, the variations in workload to which the nails or single-strand tie-rods , thus allowing you to carefully assess any release losses during operation.
Subjected to an external load, the cell undergoes a deformation which is faithfully detected by the strain gauge bridge located inside it, transforming it into an electrical signal. The strain-gauges , electrically connected in a Wheatstone bridge configuration, detect the deformations in compression , automatically compensating for the bending effect . Furthermore, the instruments are temperature compensated.
An accurate protection of the sensors allows the use of these instruments in difficult environmental conditions , without any fear of breakdowns or malfunctions.
Each cell is supplied with a test certificate which certifies the results of the test performed and the electromechanical characteristics of the same.
