The LC250 series load cells have been designed to measure variations in workload with the utmost precision and reliability. They are suitable for surveys where many loading/unloading measurement cycles are required.
Subjected to an external load, the cell undergoes a deformation that is faithfully detected by the strain gauge bridge located inside, transforming it into an electrical signal. The strain-gauges, electrically connected in a Wheatstone bridge configuration, detect the deformations in compression, automatically compensating for the bending effect. In addition, the instruments are temperature compensated. An accurate protection of the sensors allows the use of these instruments in difficult environmental conditions, without any fear of breakdowns or malfunctions.
SIM STRUMENTI also supplies the cells with load distribution plates to be interposed between the instrument and the contact surface, in order to further improve performance by excluding all errors due to difficult alignment.
