The WE770 snow gauge has been designed to measure snow depth.
It consists of an ultrasonic sensor, which is mounted on a support pole, it calculates the snow level below it.
The operating principle is based on the response times of the ecoriflesso: in the first phase the instrument emits a determined quantity of sound waves and in the second it receives the echo. The instrument calculates the time elapsed between emission and reception of the last recognized signal emitted, translating it into distance.
The sensor produces a 4-20mA signal directly proportional to the distance between the sensor and the snow.
Each sensor is supplied with a test certificate certifying the results of the test performed and its electromechanical characteristics.
