Description
The MD series GSM/GPRS modems have been specifically designed for data transmissions deriving from data loggers. They are built with a sturdy industrial aluminum casing. They are equipped with two connectors, one for power supply and one for the RS232 serial line. There is also a slot for inserting the telephone card. The modems are supplied with: power cables, antenna and a serial connector.
The MD series modems can be connected to all SIM STRUMENTI data acquisition systems and have the following functions:
- DATA – Data transmission to a website via FTP (all models)
- SMS – Sending alarm SMS messages (all models)
- CSD – Remote connection to the control unit, using another modem (only for mod. MD2)
