Applications
Structural measurement of cracks, distance between rock boulders etc.
Description
The DS820 wire joint meter measures the displacements between two points placed horizontally or vertically, spaced from a minimum of 0.5mt to a maximum of 25mt.
On one point it is installed the instrument, on the other a ring anchor. To connect them, an invar wire (material with low thermal coefficient) is used which is held in tension by a spring. To prevent the wire from being damaged, especially in particularly difficult environments, it is advisable to protect it with a protection tube.
The mounting kit in two versions: the first for vertical mounting and the second for horizontal mounting. The mounting brackets can be customized upon request.
The electrical transducer, available in standard measuring ranges between 25 and 150mm, provides an electrical signal proportional to the displacement.
The DS820 wire joint meter can be used in any environmental situation thanks to its robustness and protection, guaranteeing a high reliability.
There are many technical configurations available to choose from, they vary according to full scale, power supply and signal output.
Each sensor comes with a test certificate which certifies the results of the test performed and the electromechanical characteristics of the same.
