Vertical settlement measurements in dams, buildings, structures etc.
Description
The ST140 level meter has been designed to check with great precision and continuously the changes in elevation of points located at great distances from each other. The system finds interesting applications wherever a very accurate control of height variations is required, in particular: beds, foundations, bridges, dams, monuments or in general, structures subject to vertical subsidence. One of the great advantages of the ST140 system is the absence of moving mechanical parts, consequently you will have excellent reliability in the measure.
The operation of this system is based on the elementary principle of communicating vessels and consists of a cylinder in PVC connected through two flexible nylon tubes (one for the hydraulic circuit and one for the pneumatic circuit) to one or more instruments of the same family. The ST140 level meter is anchored on a stainless steel plate, previously installed in the point involved in the level change. Each pair of level meters is connected to a very high precision pressure transducer differential, capable of detecting a level change to hundredths of a millimeter.
The possibility to perform the zero check of the measuring instruments already in place and functioning is fundamental.
A particular thermal compensation circuit cancels any interference generated by environmental thermal variations.
Each sensor comes with a test certificate which certifies the results of the test performed and the electromechanical characteristics of the same.
